Preventing future cybercrime - identifying and redirecting young cyber talent
Our community partnership with Co-op will help prevent cybercrime by identifying young cyber talent and channelling their skills into positive, ethical careers. Â Co-op wants to help prevent cybercrime before it starts by supporting young people to put their skills to good use.
The partnership, a long term initiative with ambitions to develop into a large scale national movement, begins with an independent research study led by Professor Lusthaus of University of Oxford, a leading expert on the social dimensions of cybercrime and hacking.
The partnership will reach Co-op’s six and half million members, their 54,000 colleagues and, with dedicated programmes, into the 38 Co-op Academy Trust schools.
